Our centres

COVID-19 Auckland Council update

At Alert Level 3: Step 2 our community centres, art centres and galleries will start to reopen in line with government guidelines. Wear a face covering and maintain 2m physical distancing. 

The following Council run centres will open with the usual opening hours from ​​​​​​​Monday 15 November:​​​​​​​

  • New Lynn Community Centre
  • Wesley Community Centre
  • Oranga Community Centre
  • Te Oro
  • Studio One Toi Tū
  • Te Puke ō Tara Community Centre
  • Nathan Homestead
  • Fresh Gallery Ōtara
  • Papakura Art Gallery

From ​​​​​​​Wednesday 17 November 16 of our 19 of our Council run centres will be open will be open including:

  • Onehunga Community Centre
  • Māngere Arts Centre
  • Ōtara Music and Arts Centre
  • Te Atatū Peninsula Community Centre
  • Franklin Arts Centre
  • Ellen Melville Centre

We will update this page as further centres reopen.

You can still submit your ideas for activities, events or programmes to run at our centres though our Expression of Interest or EOI form. We will be in touch to discuss how we can support you to do what you love in your local venue.
